Having spent most of my professional life working with writers, I have developed such respect for their craft. It is a difficult task to take the germ of an idea and expand it into a cohesive, compelling narrative. Even more than the sweat and hard work of it, writing a book requires a certain amount of intellectual bravery.

An admiration for writers and a life-long love of books first led me to choose publishing as a career. As I grew in the industry, the barriers to publication multiplied, leaving frustrated authors struggling to get their voices heard. My empathy as well as my insider's understanding of the process has now compelled me to act.

I created Alexia Paul Editorial Services in order to make the path to publication smoother. Agents and publishers are all overworked. When your submission lands on their desks, the manuscripts already piled on their bedside tables at home instantly come to mind. The easy choice is to say no. My job is to help you perfect your project so they say yes.
